THURSDAYS Online 10.30am -11.30am

Release those endorphins and come and hang out with us from the comfortable surroundings of your own place . . . beginners & newbies always welcome.

At the moment we are doing everything online. It means we can relax about rules and restrictions and sing from the comfort of our own space whilst having a good ole laugh.

As well as creating a friendly corner together, we learn fab, simple and uplifting songs (with opt in harmonies), engaging techniques to bring us back to ourselves, to connect with our breath, body, brain and voice.

I'm a great believer in the power of music and it’s ability to take you to another place and believe you can use your voice to fix your head, boost your health, confidence and feel good.

Even if it’s only for an hour or so - taking yourself out of the everyday and immersing yourself in song, with like minds, is a massive tonic for the soul. The energy you get from singing with others - even if only virtually, is a feeling that comes with you into the rest of your day.

We tend to roll monthly and encourage you to commit to each batch of sessions by paying in advance - but if this too much of a commitment financially or time wise - weekly in advance by PayPal is fine. Each session amounts to £8 but if this is too much for you right now, get in touch and let’s see if we can sort something.

Newbies, rusties and absolute beginners are especially welcome. When we are learning/singing the songs everyone is muted so there is no pressure - all you will hear is you, and me.

The first session is Pay As You Feel/Enjoy.

Come as you are, no matter how you feel.

I promise you will feel energised after a good sing.

As well as my love, this is my living.
Thank you for your support.

The following sessions below are put on hold until we are able to sing together again.

We have broken from our weekly sessions but get together for singing in special places. Get in touch if you would like to join us.  Our last official event SOUNDING HOAD happened in November 2016 improvising and singing inside the beautiful Hoad Monument, Ulverston.

The sessions feature physical and vocal warm ups and singing, focusing on vocal play and improvisation and some circle singing. Some elements of practice are influenced by techniques to help focus the mind and body.

This is for you if you want to give freedom to your playfulness, explore your own sound and are willing to take risks in a supportive space with like minded women.  There is no expectation or pressure for anyone - you are always in charge of what comes out.

The art of improvisation is liberating. It can be great fun, a bit scary, make you laugh, make you tingle and open parts of you you'd forgotten even existed.
