VOCAL IMPROVISATION & PLAY GROUP

We have broken from our weekly sessions but get together for singing in special places. Get in touch if you would like to join us.  Our last official event SOUNDING HOAD saw us improvising and singing inside the beautiful Hoad Monument, Ulverston.

The sessions feature physical and vocal warm ups and singing, focusing on vocal play and improvisation and some circle singing. Some elements of practice are influenced by techniques to help focus the mind and body.

This is for you if you want to give freedom to your playfulness, explore your own sound and are willing to take risks in a supportive space with like minded people.  There is no expectation or pressure for anyone - you are always in charge of what comes out.

The art of improvisation is liberating. It can be great fun, a bit scary, make you laugh, make you tingle and open parts of you you'd forgotten how to access.
